The story
This handwoven leather laptop sleeve is crafted from full-grain leather, with every detail reflecting artisanal craftsmanship and the dedication behind the piece. Its main compartment includes a practical internal divider, ideal for carrying a laptop up to 13", along with a charger, iPad, or documents.
Inspired by the original plane in Omar Rayo's work, the sleeve's flat surface allows for a direct reading of the graphic language: geometry presented without distortion, preserving order, rhythm, and visual clarity.
About the collaboration
Omar Rayo (1928–2010) was one of Latin America's defining geometric abstractionists, a Colombian painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose hard-edged compositions of bands, diamonds, and circles placed him among the pioneers of Op Art. He constructed a visual grammar based on precision, on chromatic and formal variations, often working from crisp patterns of lines and folds that gave his geometry a sense of structure and clarity. In 1981 he founded the Museo Rayo in his hometown of Roldanillo to preserve that legacy.
This collaboration brings Rayo's visual language — order, rhythm, clarity — into Sabandija's full-grain leather craftsmanship, reimagined as a handcrafted leather laptop sleeve.

Omar Rayo, a Colombian artist of extraordinary versatility, has left an enduring imprint on the world. Born in Colombia, Rayo's early career as a caricaturist evolved into surrealistic watercolors during his "bejuquismo" period.
