Leslie Sardiñias is a Cuban-born multidisciplinary artist, born in Havana. 

His practice spans drawing, painting, and performance, exploring chromatic modernism, symbolic abstraction, marine biology, flora, organic elements, and popular culture, using techniques like painting, cutting, pasting, assembling, printing, erasing, and scraping to build textured surfaces. A central theme in his work is the relationship between the United States and Cuba, particularly the immigrant experience through the history of plants and the ocean.
