These rugs are designed by Rafael Vargas-Suarez, an artist known for his large-scale murals, paintings, and drawings influenced by astronomy and aerospace architecture.

Born in Mexico City and raised near NASA’s Johnson Space Center, his work bridges art and science, and is held in major collections including MoMA, the Whitney Museum, and MUSAC. He currently lives and works between New York, Houston, and Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
